HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CJ!!

A shout out to Connie on this auspicious occasion of her 62nd birthday!! She has accomplished quite a bit this past year with finding the condo she liked (and convincing Bill); picking all of the interior items (with Bill's help); packing up the old house (under Bill's watchful eye); moving in and unpacking; convincing Bill he likes it there; repairing the old house; getting ready for a rummage sale and selling the old place. Yikes!! Have a great day, sis. We all love you!
Sorry - I screwed up the one picture I have of you on my computer. Maybe someone else has one from the wedding!

Honeymoon

Hey all. We just returned from a great honeymoon in Maroma in Mexico. We ate a lot of tacos, drank some margeritas, lounged on the beach, and completed our scuba certification by doing four dives on the reef off of Cozumel. It was beautiful and relaxing and warm. Thought I'd share a few pictures:

1981

Today marks the 28th wedding anniversary of my mom and dad. I know it's been 28 years because the code to get into our garage is 1981 (don't abuse that knowledge) and I did simple math and subtracted 1981 from 2009 and *presto* I am a great kid who knows how long my parents have been married.

But it's not about my math skills, it's about celebrating the anniversary of two great parents and partners who have made my sister's and my life amazing. Two great people who hit it off at the Molly Brown Bar (ironic given my mom's apprehensive approach towards drinking) in Bozeman all because my mom borrowed a suitcase from Jan. I asked my mom today to recap the bar scene where they met and she said my dad asked her to dance! My dad... dancing!

Anyway, I want to wish them a fantastic 28th anniversary and let them know they are awesome people and I love 'em. Happy Anniversary!

Some more Green

Just thought I would throw in some pics from a gool old fashioned day of Saint Patrick in Utah. Jerry's family has a St. Patty's Day party every year with a blarney stone craft, shamrock cake walk, and corned beef and cabbage. An event not to be missed in this neck of the woods. The eve ended with a mighty fine jig and had to post the rockstar pic of Mikayla and Kesiah groovin away. :)

Top 'o the Mornin'! Lovely St. Pat's Day to one and all! Looks like will be having a white one here in Missoula due to the sheet of snow on the ground... but that's ok. Here's a picture of my best Irish mug. Good day and God bless!

Tooting Her Horn!

I am sorry to post above Molly, but we have some "after" photos! Molly absolutely blew our socks off with her performance. The prof who wrote the play told us prior to the show to be prepared to be dazzled and we were! We are so proud of you, Molly, and the work that you put into this play. It was a difficult one and you carried it off very well. I am just sorry that everyone couldn't be there to see it!! You do have a talent girl! We were so glad that we could be there for your swan song :) It was a blast hanging out with you and Jen!! Love you tons! Dad and Mom

Final Bow

So the show is finally finished. Jen left today and mom and dad left yesterday (their flight was canceled on Sunday because of weather). It was so fun to have them out here. I have to say, it was quite sad to have the show finished. I will admit it, I was bawling at the curtain call. This show was really the first one that I connected to on a deep level and it was my final mainstage show. But I guess now it is time to move on to other things, like my senior show! And focusing on passing my classes so I can graduate! I am helping out with hair and make up for the next show (which is set in the '60s), so that should be fun. Here are a few pics from the show. The first is one of all the ladies in the cast. 2nd is the cast. 3rd is me apparently looking like some housewife. Last one is us focusing. If they ever post ones from the actual production, I will put the link up. These are behind the scenes ones! Hope everyone is well!! I will see a few of you in a couple weeks when my friend and I come home for spring break! YAY!! Love you all!!

Downtown Bozeman

As I'm sure many of you have heard a gas line exploded in downtown Bozeman this morning and blew up a pretty good portion of one of the more popular blocks. This block was home to many of the good watering holes that Jake and I frequented over our years at MSU and it's kind of sad to see it how it looks today. The "Rockin' R Bar" was one of the establishments that got blown as it was next door to the wine bar where the epicenter of the explosion was and as a lot of you know the "R" Bar was a sort of landmark in downtown Bozeman. I'll be drinkin' a beer for the "R" Bar tonight.

As of right now one person is unaccounted for in Bozeman and the buildings surrounding the area are not stable enough to search so hopefully this person is found safe. Pray for everyone displaced and the business owners whose businesses were literally shattered today. Hopefully this area of downtown can build itself up bigger and better than before.

Alright, enough of the facebookin' already.....

I think that everyone's addiction to facebook is severly impairing their blog posting rate and I simply find this unacceptable. As a non-facebooker, I am now out of the loop and depend on the blog for my continual familial updates. C'mon people, the blog, the blog!! Don't discriminate just because it is old fashioned. It's a useful tool and can yet again be a part of your repretoire if you will but let it. Look, I'll even post a picture to remind you how easy and user friendly it is.

See? Even Kesiah says it's Number 1 (as she flashes her fancy band-aid)!
Missin' the Moores.
