I thought I would post some of my favorite pictures from the Fabulous Family Reunion! I also wanted everyone to know that once I have all of Grama's old pictures cropped and uploaded to snapfish, I will share the album so that you can print off any of the pictures that you like. And you won't have to pay the outlandish auction prices for them. :) Was so wonderful to see everyone!! Now we need some pictures of Molly's wedding posted!

Happy Anniversary

Hard to believe it's been 10 years since we celebrated these two in Iowa.  And it's been a very busy decade for them.  Through all the travel, moves, and boys these two always keep smiles on their faces (at least when others are watching) and find the best in every moment.  Happy Anniversary, you two, and enjoy your day.  See you next week!

Love,
Mike

Happy Belated, Megs!

Happy belated 31st birthday to Meghan! You have had quite the year, sister, but even with all the ups and downs, you have managed to remain a loyal and loving wife, mother, and sister. I hope you enjoyed your day! I cannot wait to raise a glass of sparkling cider with you and toast another year! Love you big sis. Sidenote - if you haven't read her most recent blog posts, you should check it out: http://meghansmomentsinlife.blogspot.com/

Silent Auction at the Family Reunion

I hope all who are attending the Moore Family Reunion next weekend will bring an item for the Silent Auction. The more it focuses on the extended Moore family, the better! Connie Moore Morris has graciously volunteered to organize it, so let her know what you plan to bring. You can email her at wdmcjm@bresnan.net. This is gonna be a great time! Johnny

More additions....

Thought we'd stop by and check in with the family.  So many birthdays and anniversaries and births going on lately!!!

First - Happy Birthday to Leo this past Thursday!!  I don't have a good picture of you kiddo, otherwise, I'd post it!

Second - Mid-February will welcome another addition to the Schulte family.  We are expecting another little miss or man!  We are pretty excited after getting over the initial apprehension.  I've got an amazing doctor who's keeping close tabs on everything.

Third - We traveled to Yellowstone a couple weekends ago and - despite not seeing ONE bison the ENTIRE time - it was a great time!  I've included some pictures with one kind of showing the baby belly. :)  Tyson loved the mud pots and Charlie was fascinated by the waterfalls.  I could have done without some of the HIGH drop-offs but we survived!

Hope all are doing well!

Love,
Ryan, Meghan, Tyson, Charlie, and Lovebug

Poppy Oliver Moore

Yesterday, we were joined in Doha by our daughter, Poppy Oliver Moore.  She was born metric: weighing 3.465 kg and 52 cm tall.  Mother and daughter are both happy and healthy, and John Rubin has been curious and kind.  We very much look forward to introducing her to you all!

PS - we'll post on facebook soon; please don't beat us to the punch.

Carter in Cooperstown

First, I wanted to say thanks to the many of you who donated to Carter's baseball team in helping them get to Cooperstown, New York for the baseball tournament. It really was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the coolest thing we have ever done as a family. It was amazing! Second, I thought I would share his Cooperstown video being that it might get inducted into the Hall of Fame in that very same town. I need to preface it with a bit of an explanation just so you will get the full value of what happens while you watch. In the beginning of the video, he is just a foot away from a homerun- so fun! But shortly thereafter, his little pickle ends up in an unintentional tackle. Really, he did not mean to mow down that kid that was standing right in the middle of the baseline. But to make matters memorable, that little throwdown caused his ejection from that game AND the following two games - intense, I know! And though it was difficult to be kicked out of the final games of the tournament, he now considers it a pretty great story. And to make it all the more ironic - in the last tournament of the summer in Utah, he was PLAYING third base and a kid slid into him and broke his leg. He is already on his second cast being that he already wore through his first one. Anyway, thanks again to everyone and can't wait to see you all in just a few short weeks!!
