Hello wonderful family!! There are two significant events to report! First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA JEANNE!!!! I hope your day is full of many blessings! You are an inspiration to us all!! Second, I would like to announce the birth of Benedict Douglas Buyske. He shares his birthday with Grandma, and a day early from what was supposed to be his birthday, who says Buyskes aren't punctual?? :) Hope everyone has a great day!!!
By the way, Ben is 9 pounds and 21 inches long....we do things big in the Buyske clan! :)

Welcome to Benedict. Since he shares the name of the Pope, can we call him Ratzinger? or even better, Ratzo?

Many many congrats! One of my favorite places in the world is St. Benedict, Oregon (aka Mount Angel). But I like Ratzo better. happy (late) birthday gram!
He is definitely a Ben. He may have been 9 lbs., but he is a petite baby and a doll. Gramma couldn't be more in her element than here in Anacortes. GREAT picture that Jimmy posted, Mom. Do hope that you had a happy bday!!
