Great Trip with Abe and Des

We had a great weekend with Abe and Desiree out in Utah. We watched the TCU/Utah which was disappointing for me but gave Abe hope that Notre Dame might have a fighting chance this Saturday. We also had a kickin' game of Laser Tag in which Carter smoked us all and the boys triumphed over the girls. But to be fair, I am pretty sure that Kaitlyn got me quite a few times with her random spray of firing. :) We also had some great late night games and a fun drive in the mountains. It was great to have 'em!! Thanks so much for coming.

Man, Hannah, you beat me to the posting! We had a really lovely weekend with the Philpot family and enjoyed spending time with all six of them. Hannah and Jerry, we will get our Cranium vengeance at Christmas!

Cool photo, and it sounds like it was a great visit. I'm heading to Chicago to spend some time with Abe and Des this weekend. Family connections are soooo good.

Gosh I feel bad for Des, losing in Laser Tag? Seems like you just keep getting the short end of the stick (yes, pun was intended- Mikayla looks like she is cortorting herself so you don't look TOO much shorter.) I won't give up on you yet, though. Like ND, you have GOT to win sometime!

Wow Nick - so harsh. Suddenly Nate is pulling way ahead in the favorite cousin race (and he's not even trying). Utah was a blast! And, Mikayla is definitely taller -- we measured! Can't wait to see everyone at Christmas.

Jen -- Total inside joke. Don't worry - equal love for ALL the cousins, especially the girls!
