Way to Go, Jen!

We would like to give Jen a big pat on the back as she completed a marathon race today in Bozeman. It was quite the course but she stuck with it and saw it through! The first picture sees her take off all peppy! The second is at about 16 miles when all was not so well. The third is at the 22 mile mark and she is pretty cramped up but still going. The fourth is coming up the home stretch to Cat stadium. The fifth gives you the perfect shot of how she felt. We are so proud of her for seeing it through! Love you, Jen!!!

in my defense of the last picture...i am pretty sure i was looking to see if my legs were still there....it was challenging, but actually kind of fun...probably another one of those in my future...just not on such a hilly course! thanks mom and dad for being such great cheerleaders!

And I thought I was pretty spectacular being able to run four miles!! You have my complete adoration - that is an amazing feat!

Don't worry about it Jen...I would look like that too if I had to run into Bobcat stadium. I am sure you would have been doing MUCH better had Montana's Stadium been at the finish. :)

Seriously, though, congrats on finishing something that few can say that have ever done, let alone done in under 4.5. Every year the toughest of the tough come across the finish line crying of aches and pains in the Washington DC Marine Corps Marathon so hold your head up (when you have your strength back) cause you can be proud of the accomplishment.

Luv ya,
Matt

Is there a reason you aren't even sweating at the end?? shady.
seriously.....sweet job. that's about 25.5 more miles than i care to run and i can't imagine what seeing a hill late in the race does to your motivation. congrats!

love,
mike

Jen! That's amazing! We are so proud of you. I cannot even imagine completing a race like that. If you are looking to run another one, the Chicago Marathon is held every year in October. The weather is typically cool, there are thousands of people lined up throughout the race cheering on the runners, and we have no hills out here! Just something to think about . . . .
Lots of love,
Des and Abe
