It's Abe's birthday today, just five days after the Big Bash in Chicago to celebrate Desiree's birthday. Abe turns 36, and I think he can look back with some satisfaction at what he's accomplished thus far. Of course, a few incidents from his younger years ... we'll just ignore those. So many good memories of you - probably foremost the times Ryan and I stayed with you guys in Chicago, and you were always willing to let us even though we wouldn't get there until 1 or 2 AM!
And who could forget Cat/Griz Satellite Party 2007?? Nothing like sitting in a bar with you two....for 10 hours...2 months pregnant and unable to drink....good times...?
Most of all we love your generous spirit and the fact that you have made it to pretty much every family function we've had!

Happy birthday Abe. My favorite memories are babysitting you when you were little. We had to constantly keep you swinging or you screamed! As you got older and had your glasses we spent lots of time looking for them. You were just too cute. So, fast forward to your 36th! You don't scream anymore and we don't have to look for your glasses, but you are still the same sweet guy!
Favorite things: A perfect song as a Christmas gift, taking pictures all around Helena with you while taking photography my senior year, our emails in college, telling Carter that he is just like you - the only boy, the second born child having to put up with three sisters just like you did - and watching that comparison light him up! Happy Birthday!!
