Thanksgiving!

Hey all, the Thanksgiving get together is generating tremendous family-wide buzz. Attendance is at 42 and gaining! For those interested in running (or walking) the Thanksgiving Day 5K along the river, sign up at the Burn The Bird website. It's an untimed fun run that starts at 8 am. As always, the Moore the merrier!

Finally, although the 5K does not appear to have official t-shirts, there is an outside chance that there will be some Moore-specific shirts generated by certain interested parties.

You can't forget the Grilled Cheese Cookoff, either. It's going to be huge.

wow...this sounds like it is going to be pretty epic...so i expect pictures! it would be awesome to have a huge showing at the 5K and t-shirts to boot! why is it that i always miss the events where t-shirts are involved?

Whoa... I'm not sure you are all ready for my blazing speed. last time I dropped a mile in Great Falls it was in the ballpark of 5:45. (of course that was 5 years and 30 lbs ago, but those things never really matter when it comes to my fleet-o-footedness). I might be down for a nice T-Day stroll though.

I'd be up for a stroll, also...and depending on weather, maybe Ty guy will join us! Woohoo!

BTW, if your shirts turn out as well as you expect them to, can those of us who aren't there and don't run still get one? I think we should really have that opportunity regardless of fitness level. :) Hannah

I agree with Hannah. Heck, I will even run around the lake in Troy if that will get me a shirt! :)

Nick I would love to stroll with you! I don't think my legs have ever known what running is!

I'm with you Shannon! I'd be glad to walk with the not-so athletically gifted!

Maybe you should just walk, Abe.

yes! sounds like fun. i'm in, and have shirt connections if we need them. as for people who don't actually attend and are vying for a shirt... pheh. maybe we can simply send you something like "my family attended a fantastic thanksgiving holiday together, and all i got was this lousy tee shirt." ha.

Nate, I just might walk if it means I get to hang out with Meghan, Shannon and Miranda.
