Hottest Ticket In Town

Here's to getting up at 6 this morning after a long night and waiting in line for three hours to get the most prized possession a college kid could have. I went through the line once and then I was "that guy" and cut in line to get the second ticket. So two tickets to Cat/Griz in 3 hours for free... I'd say my day is already a success.

Yeah, ND lost. But wasn't it just a great game? The phone message I got from Abe was that he was in South Bend, but couldn't get tix, so he was watching the game at a bar. Probably a crazy crowd there, then a subdued one, drowning their sorrows.

ND didn't break my heart – USC did. ND played with a lot of heart and few errors. But USC – fourth and nine with no time-outs and calling an audible in the loudest part of the stadium to gain 70 yards? How did they hijack the luck o' the Irish?

I'll be in South Bend next week for the BYU game. I saw them beat the Irish last year in Provo, so it's pay-back time.
