Really was an amazing trip. Still can't believe we were in that region and can't believe Jordan was that picturesque and impressive. Qatar was cool but Jordan stole the show. It was also 108 in Doha and I don't do heat well.
I tore a couple ligaments in my ankle and bruised the bone playing basketball so I was on crutches for 6 weeks. I bought that hands free crutch that made it look like I had a robot leg. But it saved the trip. And let me cut all customs and security lines.

Is this Petra? This brings back wonderful memories. Mom and I visited Petra in 1975 when Dad was on an overseas assignment at the University of Amman.
Yes, this was Petra and other spots around Jordan. Pretty spectacular place. Nice pics, bro. Especially the culinary wonder of King's Restaurant...
King's Restaurant was a highlight of the trip for sure. The authentic Jordanian food there was what really endeared us to the Middle East.
And the lovely lady in the pictures with you Nate would be....?
Great photos, Nate. Glad you got to spend some time in a great place with great people.
Meg, that's Abe and I don't think he'd appreciate you calling him a lovely lady.
Awesome pictures; beautiful people! How does it get any better than this!!

Awesome that you could make it out there!!!! What's up with the boot on the foot?
Jen, that's Nate's robot leg. Johnny thought it was pretty cool.
