Bike Ride to Lucky Peak Dam

Went for a bike ride and decided to stretch it out to Lucky Peak Resevoir. The pictures show the outlet tunnels which are 22ft in diameter and 1365ft long. The water is shooting out at 70mph. Quite a show.

Hmmm...just make sure you are doing the proper conversion for bike miles, we don't want anything suspect going on :) That looks awesome and I would take riding a bike 40 miles over running 4 any day of the week. Heard you signed up for a marathon, good on ya!

The ride was 40 miles, how did you know Jen? The Shape Up mileage conversion sucks, I get credit for a third of the ride. It's a half marathon but it's billed as the toughest half in the Northwest, first 8 miles are all uphill. I've signed up for the Missoula marathon in July.

Are you crazy?? What are you thinking?? What have you done with my little brother? Just kidding! I think it is awesome that you have gotten into running marathons. I think you are nuts but proud of you!

Ha ha! The 40 miles was pretty much a lucky guess, but I was just going off what I would do since I love the road bike and how easy it is to go 40 miles and have it be no big thing. I totally agree the mileage conversion for bike rides is totally lame, at least give half credit! Where is the half? The missoula marathon is a good one, maybe after that you can try to tackle the bozeman one :)
