Next in line...gets to share in the wealth of Delaware!!! whoo hoo!
Now, there are lots of fun and education opportunities that come from being associated with a state - we could do essays on our state and send them out to the family, we could make up songs about our state, we could learn already written songs about our state, we could make traditional food from our state for the next family picnic - wow the options are endless. And don't worry - when you die, you get to keep your state - to the grave! to the grave!
sorry...it's getting late! ha!
love you all
Briana

first off, i have to say that i love whoever thought of the states idea. pure genius! second, read Paula Vogel's "How I Learned to Drive" and I am sure you won't be calling babies "lil bit" anymore. maybe we should just stick with bitty. third, i love the name piper rika. i think you should use it!

Thanks, Bri! I'm happy to be New Hampshire. Props to the other Original 13 colonies. To those of us in the O-13, the rest of y'all will always be mere territories. Sorry Matt. You almost made it, bro.
Also, congrats to the other members of the July Trifecta (who made Wellsfest, the Wedding, and the Family Picnic): Briana, Peter, Meghan, Jen, Molly, Grandma, Nick, Ben, Rika, Rileigh, John and Bridger.
Live Free or Die!
Just to clarify, Kaitlyn's name is spelled like that. :)
And thanks Bri for all the typing, that was quite the effort. It is so much fun to have such an entertaining family. I believe the Moore July of 2007 will be one remembered throughout the ages. Even for those of us outside the Trifecta Twelve.
I was purchased from France :(
Um... I think Ann's birthday is wrong... she is at least 21 because I saw her drinking at the wedding.
Yes, a couple corrections ...
John 4/14/53
Ann 7/31/53
Abe, I like the Original Thirteen perception. But you gotta admit, some of the youngsters and outlaws got the coolest states -- those in the West. Maybe we should go in reverse order, except I think Georgia is cooler than New Mexico. More humid, too.
If we went in reverse order, new additions to the family would have to be counties in Ireland and England. If we stick to the original order, new additions could be counties in Montana, going by license-plate number. I like that.
I don't know what y'all think, but if we did a simulated civil war, the South would EASILY dominate the North. Just gonna put that out there.
I like the liscense plate idea, pretty cool. Oh and Nick, not a chance... the North has Missouri (kind of).
Sorry, Nate -- Missouri was part of the South during the Civil War. In fact, that's where the Moores came from. Shelbyville, Missouri. When the Moore Brothers returned to Missouri after serving in the Rebel Army, they discovered that their mother had departed for the West -- Confederate Gulch in Montana. The name stemmed from the migrants striking out for a better life after the strife. Since "my state" is Georgia, I can sympathize. The South shall rise again! (Okay, that's just a joke.)
Damn Wikipedia.
Yea Nate... And as for Ann's birthday, the order is not by how old people are but the order in which they came into the family. Plus the birthday says she is... over 21 so you have no arguement for that above post. idiot
Sorry Nate, Nick is right about the order for the states. It's when anyone entered the family. I don't know if Ann's birthday was wrong in the original post, but it looks like it's right now. I think you owe Nick an apology.
Your Dad!
I owe no one an apology. All I meant was that origianlly the post said that Ann's birthday made her 19. It's obvious that its not the order people were born. Read Johns post about how his and Ann's dates were wrong. No apologies here, and Nick, easy on the rhetoric.
It's ok nate you dont have to apologize. You've kinda had a rough few days on the blog so I can let this minor detail slide.
Missouri would boggle your mind too.
