Happy FIRST Anniversary

It's hard to believe, but it's been one year since Shannon's and Birch's amazing wedding in Billings.  Yesterday, Sunday, July 21st marked the first year of marriage for the wonderful couple.  It's crazy to think that a year and a day ago we were partying it up at the Depot and celebrating their big day with them.  I remember it took me 3 Red Bulls to keep up with that dance party.

A lot has happened in their first year: a new teaching position for Birch, a move to Sheridan on the horizon, two trips to Mexico (one as a honeymoon and the other as a first anniversary trip), and countless jaunts to Montana for weekends with friends and family.

Please help me in congratulating them on one year and wishing them the best for all the years to come.  Most of you know this as almost everyone on this site has had a sister get married, but it's awesome to see your sister so happy and to see her enjoy spending each day with her best friend... even if he is from the Heights.

Happy 30th Anniversary

Today marks the 30th Anniversary for two amazing people. All the way back in 1981 these two tied the knot and I'm pretty happy they chose to do that. Shannon and I are extremely blessed to have these two as our parents. So much of where we are at today is due to them. They will be celebrating this milestone with a trip to Chicago in May. Shannon and I are going to fly in to enjoy the weekend celebration with them. So, Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad. Here's to 30 more!
