Happy New Year to All!!
Just wanted to say Happy New Year to a wonderful family! We are all so lucky to be intertwined and happy to be together! We were fortunate enough to spend New Year's Eve with Johnny and Annie and another couple who are great friends! We laughed, we played games (Johnny cheated), we had fun! That is what having family around is all about! We hope that all of you had a wonderful closing to 2011 and welcome 2012 with open arms!! Oh the places we will go!

Sister Jan likes to use the word "cheated" as a euphemism for "won." I know it's odd, but we try to humor her.
Other than that little quirk, the Buyskes were wonderful hosts. Marc cooked up a meal that brought 2011 to a tasty close, and the games were fun. We all made it past midnight to welcome the new year. And a happy one to you all.
Yes, we all know about Jan's euphemisms and John's cheating!!!
Looks like we'll be hearing all year about "the places that we will go"--namely Ireland--from Jan all year long.
