Not to far from Boise is the Payette River and miles of various classes of rapids. A group of us from Delta did an 11 mile stretch today. Definitely a nice way to spend a hot summer day.

Jim, you have turned into such an adventuresome young lad!! We went tubing down the river in Lava Hot Springs last week and I accidentally knocked my 11 year old nephew right off the tube! Apparently, taking on such perilous activity is not my strong suit. Glad you had fun. :)
Eleven miles is a long stretch, but if the water is fast, the time passes quickly too. Looks like a lot of fun. Maybe you should get into whitewater kayaking.
