A big shout out to Jen as she enters the Naval legal world! She graduated summa cum laude and in the top 8 of her class! We are so proud of you, Jen! Good luck studying for the bar this summer. It was nice to have Michael there to cheer Jen on, too.
Congratulations, Jen, and welcome to the bar. A few nuggets of simple wisdom that help now and then: (1) If somebody is going to get in trouble, let it be your client and not you; (2) You can't change the facts; and (3) He who represents himself has a fool for a client.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It really was a great weekend and I am so glad I was able to share it with my parents and Mike, who trekked from Oregon to come see me cross that stage. Nick, I did pay for the robe..and seeing as how I am looking for any opportunity to wear it, I may have to bring it out at the family picnic :)
Jen - Congrats on the graduation. Had a great time watching you and your 169 classmates walking, and walking, and walking across the stage. Didn't even mind the closet accommodations the night before. Very proud of ya and know you're going to do great on the bar. Enjoy as much of the summer as you can before headin to Newport!
