A Working Stiff

I thought I would join Ben and Nate in the world of the working stiffs, so I accepted a teaching job at Canyon Creek School in Billings, MT. Good old Billings. I will be teaching 4th grade, so it should be a great time. I am nervous and excited at the same time, and am looking forward to actually having a "real" job. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the family picnic as well. Hope everyone's summer has been going well and there have been fun activities for all!!

Hot damn and Hallelujah! Congrats, Joey. Those 4th graders are going to LOVE Mr. Buyske!!! Wish I could be a fly on the wall. Or better yet, a kid in your class! Lucky 9 and 10 year olds... We're so excited for you! Sending love...

Congratulations Joey. It'll be great to have you here. I think you're going to like Billings.

Speaking of the Family Picnic. We will put an official post up soon, but we hope everyone has Sunday - August 9 marked on their calendar for the annual get together. We'll be at Jumping Creek in the Little Belt Mountains.

Cngratulations! 4th grade will be a blast to teach and the kids are going to love you! Your first classroom, school, class...how fun! If you need any help setting up your room I will probably be in Billings for grandbaby 2 mid-August. I would LOVE to help you since I am not doing my own classroom this year.

Congrats again, bud!

Love

Fourth grade would have been one of my favorites too, Mikayla will be in fourth this year! Every time I subbed this last year, I left with an overwhelming feeling of admiration and personal ineptitude in regard to teachers like I am sure you will be. I think what you'll do is truly one of the greatest professions in existence and wish you daily joy and inspiration. Call me too, if you want any further insight into the mind of a nine year old. I have one captive. :) Hannah

Congratulations Joey! We are so excited for you, though we will miss you in Helena. I liked having my big-bro around. We hope you enjoy your time over there, though. The first year is all about survival. You are gonna do great!
