LOL! Happy to see the never ending sister rivalry of "you wore my clothes" continues throughout the generations... Happy Birthday Mary, we sure do love you!!!
Great picture Mom! To quote the Great Man pictured with you, "when i get home, we'll have to go dancing. I'm spry as a cat!" And in case you were wondering, I looked up the word "spry" and it means "nimble" so when Grandpa wrote that to Grandma during the war, it was nothing inappropriate :).
I guess I should footnote- This quote came from a letter Nate, Abe and I found in the garage attic a few years ago. Now obviously it was written from memory and may be incorrect, nor could I go back and read it again as it only exists in its original hard copy, but I'm sure I can be forgiven for the potential error. I'm at the mercy of the cousins!

Do you have a date on this picture, Jim? Or anyone?
Well, I know it's when Mary was in braces, which is why her lips are clenched and it was at Ginger Tice's wedding.

Only thing I have, Nick, is that I'm surprised you had to look up the word "spry". That is all.
Ha. I remember that letter. Happy Birthday, Mary!
