San Ann Tony Oh

Hey, everyone, just a little update on my life. As most of you know I'll be heading down to San Antonio next week to take a new job with New York Life. It's a position as an administrative manager trainee. I'm pretty excited about the new adventure and becoming a third generation New York Lifer. I start on May 11, so my dad and I are heading down there next Thursday with all my stuff. Ben is only three hours away in McAllen, TX, and he is probably going to come up that weekend and meet us there. It's a long haul but an adventurous long hall.

I'm going to buy an air mattress. You may say to yourself, "Why is Nate telling us this?" The reason is that if you know I have an air mattress then maybe you will come visit. I'll even give you the bed and I'll take the air mattress if you come to SA. Why would you want to visit? I heard SA is a great town and on Halloween, or Mike's Birthday as some say, Notre Dame plays Washington State at the Alamo Dome. Come to the game.. come visit me. All right, I have to go start packing stuff. I hope ya'll (see it's all ready starting) are doing well and I hope to see ya'll soon!

Happy Birthday, Jim!

Happy birthday wishes go out to Jim! We had a nice celebration yesterday with some awesome lasagna cooked by Tom and a great birthday cake baked by Grandma Jeanne! It was fun to see the Billings Moores and Jimmy and get to celebrate with them.
Happy day, Jim. I love you and wish the very best for your 48th year!

and here is his picture

forgot it the first time... oops!

Happy Birthday!

Happy 445th birthday (and 393rd death-day) to playwright and pop culture icon, William Shakespeare!

Although he once advocated the immediate and complete genocide of all folks of their trade, I hope our lawyering relatives do not take offense to the recognizing of his birthday on this blog. I merely wanted to break the idleness of the past couple of days. Have a good one!

Spring Fever!

Hey mi familia!
Just thought I would do a little update. Maybe give some interesting reading material to the blog. ;) First off, those are the sweet Easter eggs I dyed. Second, I am completely finished with my theatre major! Wahoo! My senior show went extremely well and I was so stoked to see all the people that came out to support it. I also loved having my mom here. It was great to get to spend some time with her. Now I just have to get my projects and papers done and pass my classes and I am good to go! Graduation is only a month away!!!! Our last show of the season opens this weekend. It's called "A Flea in Her Ear" and was originally a French farce but then someone kind of tweaked it and made the setting in the 60s. I am doing makeup for the show and get to do some pretty fun stuff! As for the question, "What are you doing after graduation?" I really am not sure. I know that I will be in MT for 6 weeks this summer doing nothing. I am hoping to kayak The Gates of the Mountain with Ann and go and visit my grandparents in Troy for a bit. Maybe see some other family members. In July I am going to Ireland for 2 weeks so that should be fun. I applied for a volunteer position over there but have yet to hear anything. I am hoping to be living in LA within a year, but we will see. I am just taking things as they come. I think that is all for me right now. I hope to see you all soon and I hope everyone is healthy and happy!! Much love!!

Crazy Jen - On A Dare!!

First of all - Happy Easter to everyone. Meg, Ryan, Tyson, Jen, Marc and I all traveled to Troy to spend it with Marc's folks. Jen had told Molly that she was going to jump in the lake to which Molly said she doubted Jen would and dared her. Glove down, Jen in the lake. I took a video to show everyone what an idiot, I mean stud Jen is!! Hope everyone had as nice a weekend as we did!

Some Spring Break Shots

Just thought I would post a few pics of the kids we took out at the Salt Flats on a lazy spring break afternoon. For some reason this picture of Carter reminds me of Nate, maybe all the freckles. :) Hope everyone's spring is going well and a lovely Easter is in the making.

Feenix

Since I'm on an employee sponsored vacation and Ben is between physical therapy jobs we decided to take a trip to Phoenix. My dad had some time to enjoy some warm weather so he came with as well. It was... awesome. 80 degree weather all while Montana was getting pounded by snow was one plus. Watching almost 10 different sporting events (Spring Training baseball games, NCAA Sweet 16 basketball, Phoenix Suns basketball, and Phoenix Coyote hockey) was another plus. We even hiked Camelback Mountain in the middle of the valley. It really was a good time with good people. Here are a couple of pictures:

This picture below is for Jan. Anyone know who this guy is?

Another birthday greeting ...

Happy Birthday, Maurika. I'm a little late in getting this posting on the blog, but I was waylaid by alien tax accountants whose Feblulian calendar miscalculated the date that US taxes are due (not for another couple weeks in Earth time). In addition, I had to cope with Jan's sudden impulse to sink her life savings into the Latvian Lottery, while contending with Ann's desire to change careers and become an auctioneer on Ebay. Then Joey called and said he was considering a vocation with the Greek Orthodox Catholic Synod.

Okay, April Fool. It's a great day for Mo's b-day. I hope Rileigh and Bridger got home safely and ready to celebrate. We love you a bunch!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CJ!!

A shout out to Connie on this auspicious occasion of her 62nd birthday!! She has accomplished quite a bit this past year with finding the condo she liked (and convincing Bill); picking all of the interior items (with Bill's help); packing up the old house (under Bill's watchful eye); moving in and unpacking; convincing Bill he likes it there; repairing the old house; getting ready for a rummage sale and selling the old place. Yikes!! Have a great day, sis. We all love you!
Sorry - I screwed up the one picture I have of you on my computer. Maybe someone else has one from the wedding!

Honeymoon

Hey all. We just returned from a great honeymoon in Maroma in Mexico. We ate a lot of tacos, drank some margeritas, lounged on the beach, and completed our scuba certification by doing four dives on the reef off of Cozumel. It was beautiful and relaxing and warm. Thought I'd share a few pictures:

1981

Today marks the 28th wedding anniversary of my mom and dad. I know it's been 28 years because the code to get into our garage is 1981 (don't abuse that knowledge) and I did simple math and subtracted 1981 from 2009 and *presto* I am a great kid who knows how long my parents have been married.

But it's not about my math skills, it's about celebrating the anniversary of two great parents and partners who have made my sister's and my life amazing. Two great people who hit it off at the Molly Brown Bar (ironic given my mom's apprehensive approach towards drinking) in Bozeman all because my mom borrowed a suitcase from Jan. I asked my mom today to recap the bar scene where they met and she said my dad asked her to dance! My dad... dancing!

Anyway, I want to wish them a fantastic 28th anniversary and let them know they are awesome people and I love 'em. Happy Anniversary!

Some more Green

Just thought I would throw in some pics from a gool old fashioned day of Saint Patrick in Utah. Jerry's family has a St. Patty's Day party every year with a blarney stone craft, shamrock cake walk, and corned beef and cabbage. An event not to be missed in this neck of the woods. The eve ended with a mighty fine jig and had to post the rockstar pic of Mikayla and Kesiah groovin away. :)

Top 'o the Mornin'! Lovely St. Pat's Day to one and all! Looks like will be having a white one here in Missoula due to the sheet of snow on the ground... but that's ok. Here's a picture of my best Irish mug. Good day and God bless!

Tooting Her Horn!

I am sorry to post above Molly, but we have some "after" photos! Molly absolutely blew our socks off with her performance. The prof who wrote the play told us prior to the show to be prepared to be dazzled and we were! We are so proud of you, Molly, and the work that you put into this play. It was a difficult one and you carried it off very well. I am just sorry that everyone couldn't be there to see it!! You do have a talent girl! We were so glad that we could be there for your swan song :) It was a blast hanging out with you and Jen!! Love you tons! Dad and Mom

Final Bow

So the show is finally finished. Jen left today and mom and dad left yesterday (their flight was canceled on Sunday because of weather). It was so fun to have them out here. I have to say, it was quite sad to have the show finished. I will admit it, I was bawling at the curtain call. This show was really the first one that I connected to on a deep level and it was my final mainstage show. But I guess now it is time to move on to other things, like my senior show! And focusing on passing my classes so I can graduate! I am helping out with hair and make up for the next show (which is set in the '60s), so that should be fun. Here are a few pics from the show. The first is one of all the ladies in the cast. 2nd is the cast. 3rd is me apparently looking like some housewife. Last one is us focusing. If they ever post ones from the actual production, I will put the link up. These are behind the scenes ones! Hope everyone is well!! I will see a few of you in a couple weeks when my friend and I come home for spring break! YAY!! Love you all!!
