Sia's Birthday
So little Miss Kesiah just turned Seven! I had to put this birthday picture of her on the blog because it embodies her sassy little self. She had a bunny party - she goes with some kind of animal theme each year. :) Her friends are such sweeties - the lone boy Ashtyn has been her BFF since they were little and he was such a trooper with his blue ears. She is always the lone girl at his birthday and he is the lone boy. Anyhoo, was a fun birthday - can't believe she is seven!

Jesus Rose Today... Oh yeah and......
SHANNON AND BIRCH are engaged! After 4 years of dating, Birch proposed to Shannon today during a solo Easter Egg hunt. They were able to spend the evening with family and made the official announcement after Easter dinner. Everyone is super excited for the two of them. Birch and Shannon are planning on a summer 2012 wedding date (which will be here quicker than you think). Join us in congratulating the two!

Sunday's Icebreaker
We all gathered for the Icebreaker "race" in Great Falls on Sunday. True to its name, the event took place in snowy weather. Joey ran the 5 mile, going through some heavy snow. By the time the rest of us started the 3 mile, the snow had let up, but the northern wind was kicking up a bit. Anyway, we had a grand time. Tom and Jim ran the 3 mile and placed pretty well. Ann ran most of it. Connie, Jan, Marc, Molly and I walked -- quite briskly. It was a good gathering. After the race, we gathered at Mom's for a family photo and various visits. Life is good.

Happy Birthday Emma!
Emma Joy turns 4 today! Of course it was a princess theme complete with tiara and home-made castle cake. Emma is by far my favorite 4 year old princess. At least for today, I can look past her signature pink and purple. Dad asked me tonight when I thought she would grow out of the pink and purple phase and I said "hopefully tomorrow!"
We love you Emma and hope you had a wonderful day!!!
