I swear I WILL get this down
So, after a bit of a problem, and me being an airhead, I finally was able to log back on to the blog site. Even the old folks are better at this than I am...how sad. So, I just thought I would do a quick update of what is going on. We are entering into our final run of the show. If any of you don't know, I am in a show right now called "Kin: the Trial of Carrie Buck". It is based on the real Buck v Bell court case in 1924. It is about the sterilization of Carrie Buck and is amazing. People have given us great compliments on how well it has turned out. It is a bit intense, but really great. I play Carrie Buck, so it is my first major role and I am sad to see it coming to an end. It has been an amazing experience and I have learned so much from it! Last Friday we had an excellent crowd and the playwright was there. I was really nervous, but the show went fantastically well and afterwards the playwright asked me if he could give me a hug! I was so pumped...that has to be a good sign...right? So we run Thurs-Sat and then we are done and start on the next, and final, show of the year. This year has gone by so fast and so much has happened! I am truly blessed to have a family as great as you all!! Hopefully I will see you all at The Big Bash '07 (aka Meghan and Ryan's wedding)! Love and miss you all!!

bittersweet goodbye
Hello everyone,
Well, most of you may already know by now, but the family has sold the house. It is official. Kind of sad, there are a lot of good memories in that place. It will be weird calling another place home, but sometimes life just leads you in different directions. I just ask that you all keep my parents in your prayers as they prepare to deal with this bittersweet time in their lives. Hope all is well. We have a lot of snow in SD and are expecting some more, joy! :(
Love always,
Jen

MIKE VISITS WA!!!
Uncle Mike made it out to hang with his coolest nephew for a few days after a grueling interview at Pacific in Forest Grove, OR. We had a wonderful time despite gusting winds across Deception Pass. Will loved the view, but Kelly was not as thrilled with the heights. Grandpa Marc shared in her distaste for high bridges over tumultuous waters with an 8kt current in high wind conditions. I still think it was a great time and Will seemed to enjoy himself.

More grandkids ...
Here's another couple pictures from our visit to Utah. This one includes Hannah's first three (left to right) -- Kesiah, Carter, and Mikayla. The expression on my face reflects the realization that I have seven grandchildren.
While we were there, Jim and Beryl came over for dinner and games. Here's Jim (the younger) with Kaitlyn. I think he's a little more comfortable with the goats.

Happy Valentine's Day
I would like to extend my best wishes of a very happy Valentine's Day to all. Hope all is well in your respective worlds!
This Valentine's Day is one with mixed emotions for me, as February 14th was the birthday of one of my very dear friends who passed away this summer in a very violent and tragic car accident. For his memory I will post here an essay that he wrote as his "Mission Statement" for life:
"I love my life. I love laughing with my friends until we lay gasping for every breath. I love sitting with my brother on a cool granite cliff the juts out of a lush emerald hill, watching the last dying rays of a sunset reflect off of a river hundreds of feet below, talking about philosophy and God.
I love the sanctity and compassion I feel with my knees touching the padding while I kneel in a pew, rosary in hand, admiring and praising my Lord. I love the feeling of adrenaline flowing through my veins when I fly off of a cliff, falling into oblivion. To attempt to quantify my life would be impossible, for I exist in a uniquely qualified state, thus a mission statement would inevitably fail me. I do not live my life for a purpose, rather, I attempt to live my life with purpose. I want to embrace every emotion, every experience, every conquest, and hold it close to my soul. I want to hold it so close that every moment becomes a part of me, defining me by my passion for life and my exuberance to be a part of my life, instead of sitting idle and watching it pass like a faceless stranger on a crowded city street. My unbridled sense of self, as well as my love of community, comes from a childhood that structured my idea of love as this: Love your God above all, love your family with trust and loyalty, love your friends with compassion, and love yourself with respect. Through this principle, I have been able to enjoy life as a type of journey through stages of love. I suppose if I had to define my purpose that would be as close as I could come. My mission is to love, be loved, and eventually find the greatest love of all: a life everlasting, Amen."

The latest edition!
Or is that "the latest addition"? Anyway, many of you received wonderful photos from Hannah today. Her baby, Kaitlyn Louise, was born January 21. Ann and I made a quick trip to Utah last weekend to visit the growing Philpot Phamily. I can report with confidence that all members are healthy and sound. And the baby is as sweet as Tupelo honey -- even tempered and tolerant of overbearing grandparents.
This picture is one of my favorites -- Kesiah helping push the stroller.
Mother and child are doing fine.

Ironic Pic of the Day
Most of you know... or I guess the ones I have talked to about Bobcat football know... that I have mixed feelings about Mike Kramer. Tonight was the Bobcat-Griz basketball game and my friends put me up to getting a picture taken with THE coach of our football team. Here is visual proof. I think my eyes are so wide because I am in awe.........

The Girls
I would venture to say this is the only photo of Jeanine, Beryl, and Ann together. If any of you have a photo of Bill, Marc, and Jim together let's see it.
For those of you from the Perry Moore Family blog, from left to right; Jeanine Moore (married to Tom Moore), Beryl Moore (married to Jim Moore), and Ann Waickman (married to John Moore). This picture was taken in either 2002 or 2003 at the annual family picnic at Ryan Dam in Great Falls.

Grandma joins the 21st Century!
This past weekend, Mom/Grandma was in Billings trying to communicate with me in Great Falls and Tom in Billings and just trying to keep in touch. So Tom called me to see if we could get Mom on our cell phone account. Ben checked, ordered her a phone and I got it Wednesday. I took it to her house with a quick lesson and she is ready to go!
Her cell phone number is: 406-788-1551 so it will be pretty easy to remember. Try giving her a call and see if she remembers everything I told her!
Love ya all!

my news
So today is my first day of freedom. I wasn't able to get on the internet during my containment, but it sure looks like everyone is staying on the busy ways of life. I wish I could get one of those monstrous puppies, but I don't know how it would work during med school...maybe after. Anyways I am feeling great, happy to be out of the house and free to do whatever. I have another scan on Monday morning and then it's off to Bozeman to find a job and relax until the big move. We won't know how well this treatment worked until this time next year when I get to go through all this again, but hopefully without another treatment. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it helps more than you could ever know. If you guys have any questions about this whole process just ask and I will try to explain it as best I can. Thanks again and I love all of you.

Reunion?
Hey, folks -- I hope y'all are regularly checking the Perry Moore Family Blog. Check out the postings there, along with comments. It seems our own James Anthony has started the seismic groundswell for a Moore Family Reunion. The last one was in 1992, so it may be time.
So far, we know this summer will encompass Meg and Ryan's Wedding July 7 and annual Family Picnic July 8. Any other Big Events we need to be aware of? Is it possible to pull off a Moore reunion? Weigh in with your thoughts.
Isn't she just the cutest darn puppy you've ever seen??? This is our baby Naala, 2 years ago.
Now she's just a big lovin' horse of a gal. She has magical loving eyes and 112 lbs of the sweetest disposition you can ask for, great with babies, kids, cats, and even annoying chihuahuas. Our gal suffered a crutiate ligament tear in her back leg, and is going in for surgery next week so wish her luck! :) After her recovery of 6 months, we are going to breed her and would love to keep some of her puppies in the family if anyone is interested. Boerboels are cattle dogs by breed, super smart, loyal, playful and thoughtfully protective - if you want more information about the breed check out: http://boerboel.org.uk/
Locally, we are taking deposits and payment for puppies to help pay for her surgery and I didn't want to leave out my favorite bunch of people in the world if anyone is looking for a great dog. :) love yas! Maurika
